The University of Miami Hurricanes football team is within the Atlantic Coast Conference of the NCAA and to date has successfully made it to 33 bowl games; the Fiesta Bowl, the Sugar Bowl and the most common destination has been the Orange Bowl but the most recent was the Champs Sports Bowl.
Team spirit is huge at the University of Miami and every fall, the University Alumni Weekend & Homecoming is a largely attended event. There are class reunion celebrations, time to spend with old friends, meet new ones and enjoy the many UM traditions such as the Homecoming parade, boat burning and fireworks!
